Rules, refunds, and acceptable use

Terms of Service

These terms explain how PlumbingProtect works, what we provide, what we don’t provide, and what happens if the service is misused.

Important

PlumbingProtect provides documentation tools and best-practice guidance. We do not carry out plumbing works, do not inspect jobs on-site, and do not provide legal advice or insurance. If you need professional inspection, certification, or legal advice, you must consult qualified professionals.

Digital service delivery

The service produces a digital report pack based on information provided. Once generated and delivered, it is considered completed digital work.

Evidence-first approach

Your results depend heavily on the accuracy of your submission and the quality of your evidence (photos, written scope, invoices, comms).

Misuse gets you banned

Abuse, fraud, harassment, or attempts to exploit discounts or systems may result in account restrictions or permanent bans.

Refunds & cancellations

No refunds after report generation

Once a report pack has been generated and delivered, no refunds are issued. This is a completed digital service.

Before generation

If you cancel before generation begins (and no work has started), we may consider a refund or credit at our discretion. This depends on processing status and operational costs already incurred.

Discount codes & promotions

One person, one fair use

Codes are intended for legitimate use. Creating multiple accounts or using workarounds to repeatedly claim discounts is not allowed.

Abuse = bannage

Misuse of discount codes or attempts to exploit promotions may result in order cancellation, account restriction, or permanent ban without notice.

Acceptable use

Use it honestly

Provide truthful job details. Don’t fabricate claims, photos, or invoices.

Respect privacy

Only upload content you have the right to share. Obtain consent where required.

No harassment

Threats, abusive language, or harassment towards staff, plumbers, or other users is not tolerated.

No system abuse

Don’t attempt to bypass payment, scrape systems, hack, or exploit the platform.

Limitations & liability

PlumbingProtect provides documentation tools and best-practice guidance based on the information submitted. We do not guarantee outcomes, recovery of losses, or dispute results.

Any guidance is general and may not apply to every property or job. You should seek professional advice for safety-critical decisions (including gas work, structural concerns, or compliance matters).

We are not responsible for actions taken by plumbers, contractors, customers, or third parties. Any engagement and contract for works remains solely between customer and plumber.

Plain-English version

We give you the tools to document the job properly. We don’t do the job, we don’t guarantee the job, and we don’t decide who wins a dispute. Use the platform to protect yourself — and get proper professionals involved when needed.

Service changes & termination

We may update the service

Features, pricing, and availability may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify parts of the service.

We may restrict access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the platform, or pose risk to others or to system integrity.
